CALLING ALL 4H ENTHUSIASTS!

Several parents are currently organizing a local chapter of 4H here in town. 4H is open to children ages 5 - 18.
If you are interested in volunteering, or your child is interested in joining please contact us via email.

Attention Skaters!

There has been great discussion in part by the Rec Dept, to construct a skating rink for this winter for use by all. We are currently in the planning phases but we need help. We are in need of volunteers to help construct the rink, a used snowblower to help clear the rink, volunteers to rotate clearing the ice during storms, a Hockey Fundamentals coach for grades 1 through 6 and we are also hoping to have some of the rough cut lumber we need donated. If we are able to go ahead with this project it is to benefit the entire community, not just one age group. We're looking at Family Skates, Hockey Practice, Friday Night Community Skate, Skating parties with marshmallows & hot dogs, Figure Skating etc. All purposely designed for ages 1 to 101! If you can help in any please contact Mel via email.
