Letter of Transmittal
"1990 Center of town Marker - Time Capsule Buried"
as submitted by Donna A Kingsbury, Town Manager 1990
June 30, 1990 a granite marker was dedicated to mark the Center of Town. The same day a time capsule was buried on the lawn in front of the Bridgewater Civic Building just south of where the concrete slab supporting the new sign is. The time capsule will be dug up celebrations marking Bridgewater's 150th birthday in 2008. I would like to thank all the members of the Main Street '90 Committee that made these events such a success. Heritage Day and Bridgewater Fun Day were enjoyed by all who participated.
Contents of the Capsule
The following is a listing of the contents of the Time Capsule that was buried on June 30, 1990 at the Civic Building. The Capsule is to be dug up during the celebrations on July 4th, 2008.
